About this program
Did you get that?
Six pairs of songwriters get one room, one day, and nothing written yet. We film the whole session and cut it down to the parts where the song actually happens.

01
One constraint
Every pairing starts from a single prompt, object, or leftover lyric — never a blank page and never a finished demo.
02
One take on the day
No re-staged “reveal” moments. If a line gets rewritten on camera, that’s the take that’s in the program.
03
One finished song
Each program ends with a full take of the song that came out of the room that day — rough edges included.
With Wayne Pennington
[Host bio — replace with two or three sentences on who Wayne Pennington is and why he’s the one running the room: relevant background, what he brings to a session, how he ended up hosting this. Keep it as specific and unadorned as the program writeups — this isn’t the place for adjectives either.]
